  • Concept Of Use: The gloves are issued to protect the hands of all personnel performing light duty, requiring mosquito protection. For wear with or without the glove inserts, wool and nylon knit, and for wear over the chemical protective gloves when required.
  • Description Of Item: The gloves are of 5 finer design, slip-on style, all leather, gun-cut with a continuous thumb inseamed all around with a leather welt inserted in the seam. The seam at the base of the fingers is provided with a reinforcing leather welt turned over to cover the stitching. For wrist closure an adjustable strap and buckle is provided on the back of the gloves. The back of the gloves may be pieced.
  • Materials Used: The leather used may either be cattlehide or horsehide.
